Installation

SR4 Toolbox is written in Java and can therefore be launched on any computer on which the Java Runtime is installed. For UNIX computers, including Linux and Mac OS X computers, and Windows computers, an installer of SR4Toolbox is available. The installers can be found on the download page.

Without a Java Runtime (min verion 1.5), the installer will not run, the Windows installer will redirect you to the webpage where the java runtime can be found. The Unix installer doesn't have such a feature, but you can download java from http://java.sun.com. The latest version (JRE) is what you need.

The installation is easy:

First you download the installer for your computer. This file can be found on the download page.
Run the installer, a wizard will led you through the installation process.
